An airport

Pulkovo airport is an international airport of Federal significance, the only operating airport saint-petersburg's. Saint Petersburg city center is 20 km away.

It ranks fourth among Russian airports in terms of the number of passengers transported. Pulkovo is the base for Rossiya airlines.

Since February 2015, passengers have been served by a new centralized passenger terminal at the airport, which includes a new terminal that opened on December 4, 2013 and the old building "Pulkovo-1", which opened after reconstruction on February 3, 2015 and is intended to serve passengers on domestic flights. Since March 28, 2014, the Pulkovo-2 air terminal, which was used for international flights, has ceased to operate.
